First, Cake Boss is a reality show that stars Buddy Valastro himself and his family. The show shares how they have made their business Carlo's Bakery very successful. The bakery is located Hoboken, New Jersey and I hope that we get to go there when we are in New York. Anyways, the reason why I like the show is their family's relationship with each other, they may fight but in the end, they are still family. Another reason why I like the is the documentary style reality show, with footage of what happened and interview that would accompany it. The interviews make it a good way to show how the different people felt at that exact moment. I'm pretty sure that the interviewee must say their answers in present-tense to have that feeling.
Next, the Next Great Baker, this show stars Buddy Valastro himself with his family as guest stars. The show is about 13 contestants that battle to the spatula to "bake" it to the top. The winner will receive $100,000 and a job offer at Carlo's Bakery. The reason why I like this is show is because the competition in the show is almost like STN, were you need to have strategies, qualities to be successful. These strategies, qualities are thing just like how you need to be successful at STN like cooperation, trust, and hard-working. If you are the weak team/school you won't win, in the shows case, you will be eliminated. The show also shows how competition can get rough just like at STN, with drama, distrust, even laziness and also not being able to step up to the plate. The show also uses the documentary style method which also makes the show feel like your there.
Well that's pretty much it guys! These are my impressions of my favorite TLC shows. I hope you will have the chance to watch these shows. You can watch them on Hulu with subscription or even on Youtube if you can mind the big, weird boarders in the video. Well that's pretty much it, make sure to come back next week to read the latest and greatest. Peace out! ✌
